Hi, I’m Cassie

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I became a therapist because I have always been drawn to understanding people—the experiences that shape us, the relationships that influence us, and the patterns we develop as we learn to navigate life. I believe that even the patterns that eventually become painful or unhelpful often began as ways of adapting, protecting ourselves, or trying to stay connected.

My approach to therapy reflects that belief. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I want to understand the person, relationship, and experiences beneath them. I work collaboratively with individuals and couples to explore those deeper patterns, heal from painful experiences, strengthen relationships, and create changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

I also believe therapy should feel human. While my work is grounded in clinical training and evidence-based approaches, I strive to create a space that is warm, genuine, and free from judgment. You won't find a one-size-fits-all approach in my therapy room. I integrate different therapeutic models based on each client's needs while helping clients develop greater insight, emotional safety, connection, and confidence in navigating their lives and relationships.

A little about me

Outside of my work as a therapist, much of my life centers around my family. I've been married for 19 years, and my husband and I are raising three boys. Those roles have given me a deep appreciation for the complexity of relationships, family life, transitions, growth, and the reality that meaningful relationships require both connection and continued work.

When I'm not in the therapy room, I value time with my family, staying active, getting outdoors, and continuing to learn and grow—both personally and professionally. I believe therapists bring their humanity into the work, and I strive to offer clients a relationship that feels authentic, grounded, and compassionate while maintaining the boundaries and safety that good therapy requires.

Education & Professional Background

My professional experience includes providing individual and couples therapy, supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, relational concerns, life transitions, and other complex emotional experiences. In addition to my clinical work, I have experience providing clinical supervision and supporting developing therapists as they strengthen their clinical skills and professional identities. I remain committed to continued learning and advanced training so that my work continues to evolve alongside the needs of the clients I serve.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is collaborative, but it is also active. I won't simply sit back and expect you to figure everything out on your own. I'll help you slow things down, notice patterns, make connections, and explore what may be happening beneath the surface.

You can expect warmth, curiosity, honesty, and compassion in our work together. At times, that may also mean gently challenging patterns or perspectives that are keeping you stuck. My goal isn't to tell you what decisions to make, but to help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and your experiences so that you can make choices that feel intentional and aligned with who you want to be.

I believe some of the most meaningful therapeutic work happens when we can balance insight with experience—understanding why something is happening while also creating opportunities to respond differently. Whether we're processing trauma, working through anxiety, or untangling relationship patterns, we'll continually connect the work we do in therapy to the life you want to build outside of it.

Think we might be a good fit?

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. If my approach resonates with you, I’d be glad to connect and learn more about what you're looking for in therapy.
